Today friends was a somewhat gloomy day here in central Florida. The only work I accomplished was simply mowing the grass but wow does it look good! I had no energy for the rest of the afternoon so I watched a documentary on WW 2 . I had the kids watch it too as their grandfather, my father was a veteran. They had no interest at first but as it went on I watched out of the corner of my eye and saw that they were intrigued. I did check most of the fruit trees and all look good except the Avacado which has never been a spry specimen, but I will not give up hope, no never or at least not until it's kindling wood. Just 2 days ago I harvested 4 beautiful Carambola which were sweet and tasty it's one of my favorites so I have many of various sizes. The beloved lake is so low that I can not even use the boat for if I do it potentially could suck up mud into it's jet engines. It is very hard for me to stay on land as the lake is my special time to commune with nature like the gators, the birds and the otters that play along the wooded shoreline.
Tonight I am off to dinner with the family and we are going to have Thai which is my favorite! I will see you on the national show tomorrow. Bye for now.
